Walk Beyond the Restricted Perimeter

To unlock No Escape in Potato Please, player guides direct you to leave the warehouse during an active shift and continue toward the outer edge of the grounds after the loudspeaker orders you back to your post. Crossing the restricted perimeter triggers a cutscene and the achievement.

02

Choose an Active Shift With Outdoor Access

Make the attempt during an active shift when you can leave the warehouse and reach the grounds. The player-described route concerns the property's outer boundary. Treat it as a separate achievement stop while you still have access to that part of the shift.

03

Trigger the No Escape Event

  1. Leave the warehouse during the active shift to reach the outdoor grounds. This puts you in the area used for the boundary attempt described by players.
  2. Walk away from the working area toward the outer edge of the property. You are approaching the restricted perimeter where the game warns you to return.
  3. Continue outward after the loudspeaker orders you back to your post. Crossing the restricted perimeter is the action player guides describe as triggering the cutscene and No Escape.
  4. Check your achievement list after the boundary cutscene to verify that No Escape registered. Use the recorded unlock as your confirmation that the attempt succeeded.
04

Recognize the Warning and Check the Result

Expect a loudspeaker instruction telling you to return to your post as you head away from the working area. For this achievement attempt, keep moving toward the perimeter after that warning. The player-described trigger is crossing the boundary, so hearing the warning alone is not the completion check.

If you are unsure what happened, distinguish the warning, the boundary cutscene, and the achievement appearing in your list. Check which of those you actually observed before repeating the attempt. That is more useful than estimating how far you walked.

Spoilers: No Escape Compared With the Train Escape

No Escape is a boundary event during the shift. Completing the quota instead advances the story toward the key potato, the Iron Door, and the train. Those later destinations have separate ending achievements, so completing a train route does not replace the boundary attempt.

GoalAction and Result
Unlock No EscapeWalk beyond the restricted perimeter during an active shift, continuing past the loudspeaker warning to trigger the boundary cutscene.
Complete the final quotaReach 60,000 / 60,000 on the quota counter. Completion starts the objective involving the special potato and the locked exit.
Finish a train routeObtain the Golden Key from the special potato, open the Iron Door, and reach the train. Select a destination and depart for its ending.

If You Already Finished the Quota

A Steam player reported finishing the quota without attempting to leave and still missing No Escape. If that matches your situation, check whether you have an earlier active-shift save with outdoor access. Keep the boundary attempt separate from replaying a train destination.

The developer confirms that finished saves can replay the ending. That feature is useful for the final train choices, while the No Escape instructions describe leaving during an active shift. Use an available active-shift save for this attempt before deciding to begin another run.
